On March 15, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Mission to Vietnam joined leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Mekong provinces to launch the Mekong Delta Coastal Habitat Conservation project.

The Ho Chi Minh City Ballet, Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) presented a friendship concert in collaboration with the Vietnam-US Friendship Association in HCM City on May 28.

"Facebook for Viet Nam" campaign is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Viet Nam - US relations on May 24. This campaign is "an excellent example of the strong economic ties' between Viet Nam and the United States.
