The Concert that Connects Vietnamese Expats in the Czech Republic
After nearly three years of being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, on the evening of March 26, in Prague, Czech Republic, the troupe of the People's Public Security Theater had a tour with the Art Program "Hometown Melodies". This program was organized to serve the Vietnamese community in some European countries.
Twenty artists from the People's Public Security Theater of the Ministry of Public Security brought the Vietnamese community to the European nation with diverse performances like short plays that are imbued with Vietnam's national identity.
Major General Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Party Affairs Department, Vietnamese representative agencies in the Czech Republic, representatives of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic, and hundreds of overseas Vietnamese in the Czech Republic attended the event.

According to Major General Nguyen Cong Bay, head of the art troupe, the artists have trained hard for a long time to serve the Vietnamese community in Europe. He believes this is a special art program to bring art to people, encourage them to do business and study well, and always look back to their homeland.
“Today it is an honor for us to serve people in the Czech Republic. We appreciate the efforts of the people to overcome the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in European countries. The Ministry of Public Security and the People's Public Security Theater implemented a special cultural and artistic program including singing, dancing, and musicals to bring joy to the people, encouraging overseas Vietnamese to share the same vision of doing business and developing, contributing to the development of Vietnam," said Major General Nguyen Cong Bay.
