Thi Tuong Lagoon (also known as Ba Tuong Lagoon) is the largest natural lagoon in the Mekong Delta region. It is not only famous for the size but also for the beautiful scenery and out-of-this-world experience.

Created by alluvial deposition, Thi Tuong lagoon has an area of ​​​​about 700 hectares, more than 10km long, about 2km wide, about 800m at the narrowest place, divided into 3 sections: Upper lagoon, Middle lagoon and Lower lagoon. The destination is 1 hour from Ca Mau city, sitting on the highway, located next to Ba Keo canal, connecting to the Thailand Bay through the My Binh river.

The lagoon is located on the border between 3 districts of Phu Tan, Cai Nuoc and Tran Van Thoi. In which, the largest area is in Phu Tan district.

The water level is not deep but always keeps the water level above and below 1m. This is a vestige of the back sea and the process of alluvial accretion in the Ca Mau Peninsula is still unfinished.
