Thousands of Vietnamese fans fly to Malaysia for AFF first-leg final
Thousands of Vietnamese football fans have flown to Malaysia to cheer on the national team in the first-leg of AFF Suzuki cup final.
The match is scheduled to take place at 7:45 pm today, December 11 at Malaysia’s Bukit Jalil stadium.
Vietnam last won the AFF Cup in 2008.
Speaking at a press conference on December 10, Vietnamese football team coach Park Hang Seo said that playing an away match under the pressure of 80,000 fans would be a challenge, but they would try their best for a good result.
Malaysia are strong rivals, but Vietnam defeated them 2-0 in the group stage.
