They are among six young entrepreneurs with innovative startup projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MosT) via its Project 844.
The selection was made from a total of 3,500 entries from 22 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region, in different categories including the arts, entertainment and sport, finance and venture investment, communications, healthcare and science and consumer technology.
The three Vietnamese representatives are Nghiem Xuan Huy, Han Ngoc Tuan Linh and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen.
Nghiem Xuan Huy is the founder and CEO of startup Finhay which was one of ten promising startups at the Innovative Technopreneur Contest (Techfest) 2017 and has since been supported by the MoST through Project 844.
Finhay has received millions of US dollars from several investors: Insignia Venture Partners, H2 Ventures and Acorns.
In 2019, the startup featured in the list of the world’s leading fintech firms (Fintech100), a collaboration between fintech investment firm H2 Ventures and KPMG Fintech.

Han Ngoc Tuan Linh is a co-founder and CEO of Vietnam Silicon Valley Capital which is an investment firm with assets worth US$7 million. So far, it has made over 70 investments in Vietnamese startups.
Vietnam Silicon Valley is a technology commercialisation project under the Silicon Valley model launched by the MoST in 2013.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen is the founder of an innovative medical technology startup -,Medlink Asia.
The company provides solutions in information and technology management in order to connect manufacturers, distributors, pharmacies and consumers in the ecosystem of the pharmaceutical industry as well as the digitalisation data from all sides.
Medlink won third prize at Techfest 2018 and were connected with international communication organisations thanks to support from the MoST.
