Tokyo Vietnam Medical University officially opens
(VNF) - An opening ceremony was held on July 22nd at Ecopark Urban Area in the northern province of Hung Yen, Hanoi (VNU) to celebrate the opening of the Tokyo Vietnam Medical University, with the participation of Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien.

The Tokyo Vietnam Medical University is a private university wholly invested by Japan’s Waseda Health Sciences Education Corporation at the Ecopark Urban Area in the northern province of Hung Yen.
Construction of the university is on a total area of 3.2ha with an initial investment of around US$20 million.
The university will employ 80 domestic and foreign lecturers to teach approximately 1,200 students per year. It will provide four-year and three-year degree programmes in the areas of nursing, rehabilitation nursing, physical therapy, orthotics and prosthetics, and medical testing, among others.
