Training course to improve Lao officers’ professional competence opened
During the course, the trainees will be provided with basic knowledge on the function, missions, principles and organization of the system of information and training work; ideological work at grassroots units, including orientation of public opinions on the Internet and social media to the right; and other affairs related to education, information dissemination, reward, emulation, media, culture and literature and arts, publication, and distribution in the military.
The Department of Information and Training under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army opened a training course on information and training work for 30 Lao officers in Hanoi on August 12.

In his speech, Major General Nguyen Van Tin, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Training, highlighted the importance of the work in the Party and political work of the military and in building the Party’s ideological basis in the military.
The Vietnamese general hoped that the Lao trainees would accomplish their training contents to later apply the acquired knowledge to their missions on the ideological and cultural front.
