Citing a recent article from Diario LaR, the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) correspondent in South America highlighted that throughout its history, Vietnam has undergone significant social and cultural transformations. These changes have been shaped by the current era of globalization, as well as influences from colonial times and wartime periods, contributing to the nation's cultural diversity.

The Uruguayan newspaper praised Vietnam's rapid economic growth in recent decades, which has significantly impacted the country's urbanization process. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have experienced rapid population growth due to migration from rural areas to urban centers in search of job and educational opportunities.

According to Diario LaR, education plays a fundamental role in Vietnam's social transformation.
