According to France-Vietnam (FV) HCM City Hospital, the activity will be implemented through the “Nang buoc tuoi tho” – a charitable fund sponsored by the hospital.

On October 21, Dr McKay examined 16 children from across the country. He will be carrying out surgeries for them at FV Hospital from October 22-25.

Since 2006, the FV-funded foundation has financed surgery for hundreds of children with various types of malformations and sequelae, helping them to enjoy better lives.

Dr McKay has more than 30 years of experience in his field and has travelled all over the world to work with charity and humanitarian organisations to offer free treatment to patients with rare conditions, especially those with large tumours.

Currently, he is a surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois State and the Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago Medical University.
