VESAMO donates to AO/dioxin victims in Binh Dinh

VESAMO built houses to AO/dioxin victims in Vietnam.

According to Binh Dinh Department of Foreign Affairs, VESAMO proposed to build one charity house worth 2,500 USD for a poor family, gave 3,500 USD to 35 families of AO victims and 1,000 USD to a rehabilitation and nursery center for AO/dioxin victims.

The Binh Dinh Union of Friendship Organizations, Department of Foreign Affairs, the Association for AO/dioxin victims and other departments will receive and use the fund as its intent purpose and as regulations of State.

VESAMO is a non-profit organization, established in 2002 under the control of the Rok’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This organization has over 100 members, contained intellectuals, artists, journalists, lawyers and businessman from the southern cities and province of the RoK (e.g, Bussan, Ulsan and Kyeongnam).

VESAMO contributed to expand the Vietnam – RoK relationship by its social activities, especially, the walk – out ceremony in the anniversary days of two countries, supporting the Vietnamese poor students and dioxin victims. Moreover, VESAMO also helped Vietnamese brides, workers and students in RoK./.
