On April 8th, the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) organized the 2015 Asian-Pacific charitable fair to raise funds for international charities and disaster relief.
This is the 39th fair organized by the ALFS, with the participation of the Japanese Princess Hitachi, ambassadors and their spouses from Asian-Pacific countries, including Vietnam.
In the framework of the fair, the host country Japan, 22 representatives from the embassies of the Asian – Pacific countries and charitable organizations exhibited and sold their unique handicrafts and food products.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan had two kiosks introducing handicraft products such as silk, gemstones and some of Vietnam’s traditional cuisine. Vietnam’s kiosks attracted a large number of visitors.
All revenue from the fair will be allocated to each embassy in order to carry out charitable activities and disaster relief.
