Vietnam attends Tea and Ornamental Plant Festival in Slovakia
Vietnam joined the International Tea and Ornamental Plant Festival at the Agricultural Exhibition Center in the city of Nitra, in the Republic of Slovakia on April 16th-19th.
This annual festival was imbued with national culture and organized by the Ornamental Plant and Tea Association in the Republic of Slovakia.

At the festival, Vietnam screened video clips about tea ceremony, coffee production industry and ornamental plants of Vietnam.
In addition, visitors also listened to a presentation on Vietnam's tea culture, the benefits of drinking tea and coffee as well as how to prepare the two kinds of drinking water by Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia Ho Dac Minh Nguyet.
Vietnam’s Commercial Counselor Nguyen Thang Long introduced the tea and coffee industries and information on Vietnam’s tea and coffee exports.
The organization dedicated April 19th for the Vietnamese Embassy to organize "Vietnam Day" on the main stage of the festival.
With cooperation among the Vietnamese Embassy, Vietnamese Trade Office in Czech, the Trung Nguyen Coffee Group in Czech and overseas Vietnamese in Slovakia, the "Vietnam Day" program attracted attention and created a good impression for visitors through various activities such as bamboo dance, traditional long dress performances and the introduction of Vietnamese cuisine with the famous Vietnamese noodle soup (Pho) in Slovakia.
Vietnam’s booth and “Vietnam Day” attracted thousands of visitors during the festival.
This was the third time the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia had participated in the tea and ornamental plant festival in Slovakia, in order to promote economic and cultural diplomacy on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Slovakia in 2015./.
