"Vietnam has many skilled artisans capable of creating visually stunning and artistic products. The 3D jelly, with its fragrant, mildly sweet flavor and low-calorie content, is well-suited to Vietnamese tastes," said the President of the Hanoi Professional Chefs Association.

The First International 3D Jelly Art Exchange was organized by the Hanoi Professional Chefs Association under the Hanoi Tourism Association, in collaboration with the project "Library from Flowers."
The exchange featured 22 jelly artisans from Vietnam, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China), Malaysia, Singapore, and Macau. Professional chefs and 3D jelly art enthusiasts from across the country also participated.
This event provided a platform for 3D jelly artisans to meet, share experiences, and showcase their unique creations. Participants had the opportunity to experience the process of creating 3D jelly artwork, including selecting ingredients, mixing colors, and shaping techniques, while also learning jelly-making skills from international artisans.
3D jelly artworks were featured in the exhibition, reflecting the cultural heritage of each participating country. Attendees not only admired the beautiful 3D jelly art pieces but also had the chance to learn about various cultures, customs, and traditions through the stories conveyed by each piece.
Vietnamese and international artisans received certificates at the event. |
Artisan Wu Fang Tsao, of Vietnamese origin and currently residing in Taiwan (China), Champion of the 2019 and 2022 International Art Creation Competition, suggested that similar events should be organized in the future.
This would allow the 3D jelly art enthusiasts to share experiences with international artisans, thereby promoting the development of this art form in Vietnam.
In addition, the 3D jelly artworks displayed were auctioned at the event, with all proceeds used to build libraries for children in mountainous areas where educational conditions are still challenging.
According to artisan Tran Thi Phuong Nga, the exhibition raised over VND 54 million from the auction of artworks. This amount will be used to build libraries, providing access to knowledge for children in highland areas.
