The program is organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Vietnam - Southeast Asia Friendship Association, and the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations.
Artists brought to the show unique musical instruments, dances, shadow puppetry, and traditional music from different cultural regions in Indonesia. The performance of traditional costumes, instruments, and music of Vietnam showing the friendship between Vietnam and Indonesia also made a deep impression on the participants.
Within the framework of the program, an Indonesia-Vietnam business seminar was held. In the seminar, Indonesian and Vietnamese companies exchanged opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, participating in the ASEAN economic market, especially in the new normal period to implement solutions for the net zero carbon economy.
Topics on the agriculture-livestock economy, digital transformation, digital economy, marine economy, and cross-border e-commerce connection of Vietnamese and Indonesian businesses in ASEAN were also mentioned in the program.

Speaking at the program, Agustaviano Softian, Consul General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City affirmed that the traditional relationship between the two countries is developing to new heights.
"The relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia has contributed immensely to the common development of ASEAN. The two countries contribute to 60 percent of Asia's population as well as 45 percent of the bloc's economic development.
Over the past ten years, Vietnam and ASEAN have increased the development of maritime trade cooperation, leading to other developments, which are more open and effective," said Agustaviano Softian.
Sharing about the initiative to organize a potential sharing session to connect Vietnamese-Indonesian businesses in the cultural-art exchange program, Phan Thi Hong Xuan, president of the Vietnam-Southeast Asia Friendship Association in HCMC said that "Indonesia has brought the story of culture to Vietnam. However, culture must go hand in hand with economic development and thus we also need to ensure comprehensive and inclusive development. Culture is important as the foundation for all problems, and sustainable development, but it takes an economy to promote the role of culture".
Do Viet Ha, head of Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations said, "Today's program has business connection activities, cultural and art exchange activities. I hope we will have a complete picture of the relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia. It will help to beautify the traditions of the two countries and peoples. We will overcome difficulties and move towards a more sustainable future".
