Vietnam Int’l Junior Fashion Week 2018 to be held at Thang Long Imperial Citadel
The Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week is set to take place from December 21-23 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, according to the organizers.
The fashion stage will be erected next to Doan Mon gate. The organizers opted for Thang Long Imperial Citadel as the venue of the event in order to introduce the image of Vietnam to the world and help teenagers learn about the nation’s heritage.
Producer Le Tran Dac Ngoc said the 3-day event is expected to attract the participation of 400 child models showing off 15 of the latest collections from local and foreign designers and 10 foreign brands.
There will be sideline activities from September to December along with a range of programs held under the framework of the fashion week such as a street fashion festival, a kids’ festival to join hands to protect the environment and a festival to raise funds for the poor nationwide.
A proportion of the ticket sales will be used to fund medicine cabinets and libraries for children in mountainous areas.
