Vietnam Introduces Food, Beverage Products in Thailand

Tasting Vietnam had the attendance of more than 40 guests representing the purchasing department of leading retail groups (Central Retail, Siam Makro, Big C, The Mall Group), and enterprises designated to directly import from Thailand.
Applying a new approach, focusing on the finished product experience in the form of business-to-business transactions, this event marked a strong transformation of Vietnam's food and beverage industry with the direction of deep and sustainable integration with the international market.
Vu Kim Anh, representative of Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products, said, "The goal of today's event is to change the approach to trade promotion, instead of just meeting between businesses and businesses. We want to turn those products into typical Vietnamese dishes with ingredients from the businesses that will participate in today's event.

The products selected at the event of QP Foods, Khai Hoan, Tri Kien, Khanh Ha Foods, Tan Nhien represent a new generation of products, meeting the diverse tastes of global consumers.
They apply advanced processing technology, keeping their identity, and promoting the essence of Vietnamese cuisine.
At the event, through the hands and unlimited creativity of artisans, the quintessence of local raw materials such as Bac Giang lychee, Phu Quoc fish sauce, Cu Phong grapes, Tay Ninh rice paper become a unique source of ingredients to create outstanding dishes of the regions of Vietnam, making the guests extremely excited.
Wisan Anggurarat, deputy commercial director of Siam Makro, a subsidiary of CP Group Thailand said, "This is a good opportunity to promote the product. We see a wide range of products here, that are all high quality Vietnamese food with scrumptious taste. These products can all penetrate and sell well in the Thai market.
Our company is interested in rice paper products used for the fresh spring rolls of Vietnamese enterprises here. I think our customers will love this product".
