Vietnam, Japan cooperate in training human resources in construction industry
As there is an increasingly high demand for construction in ASEAN countries and a lack of human resources in the construction industry in Japan, the Japanese Earth Construction Co., Ltd has linked with some Vietnamese colleges to train labourers for Vietnamese and Japanese construction companies.
Accordingly, the Japanese Earth Construction Co., Ltd on June 29th signed a deal on cooperation in training construction technologies with Vietnamese Construction College No. 2 of the Construction Ministry, the Transport College No. 3 of the Transport Ministry and the Ho Chi Minh city Construction Vocational Training.
The training will last one year. During the course, the trainees will have a chance to master Japanese construction technologies, practice with Japanese machines and equipment, and learn foreign languages and about the Japanese working environment.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Mr. Nakajima Satoshi, Japanese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh said that he hoped the cooperation would promote development in the construction industry, thus increasing the cooperation between the two countries.
He added that through the training course, students would be equipped with construction technologies that when applied would benefit Vietnamese and foreign construction industries./.
