Vietnam-Korea Culture-Culinary Festival 2019 to feature 100 booths

The Vietnam-Korea Culture and Culinary Festival 2019 will take place in Ly Thai To Square near Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi from November 8-10, the Republic of Korea (RoK) Embassy in Vietnam announced at a press briefing.

Vietnam-Korea Culture-Culinary Festival 2019 to feature 100 booths

According to the organizers, the event aims to strengthen the friendship between the people of Vietnam and the RoK.

This is the 11th time the festival has been held in Vietnam, and it has become a popular event among local youngsters.

This year, the festival will feature 100 booths introducing perse products and traditional Korean dishes.

It will also provide a chance for Vietnamese consumers and RoK companies to foster connections.

At the same time, famous Vietnamese and Korean artists, including Ha Le, Min, Kim Dong Joon and Dynamic Duo will perform at the festival, along with a taekwondo competition.

Visitors will also have the chance to take cooking classes and win prizes at the event.

Earlier, in October, Korean art troupes have performed at the Korean Culture Day held in Da Lat city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong. The event was co-held by the Korean Culture Centre; Korean Tourism Organisation and Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation and Lam Dong province.

Coming to the event, people have a chance to enjoy food, try to make Korean handicrafts with traditional hanji paper and learn about Korean travel./.
