Vietnam, Poland spark Da Nang fireworks festival’s opening day

Vietnam and Poland performed in the curtain-raiser of the 2018 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival on the central city’s Han River on Monday (April 30^th).

The Han River hosts the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

The theme of the festival is “Legend of The Bridges,” originating from the famous name of Da Nang, The City of Beautiful Bridges.

Eight teams including France, the U.S., Italy, Hong Kong (China), Sweden, Portugal, Poland and Vietnam will show their performances from April 30^th to June 30^th,each performing a fabulous display of fireworks that last for about 20 minutes. On each scheduled day, two teams will perform, and finally, on the last night, the top 3 will compete in the final. The winners are selected by judges.

Two best teams will play in the final on June 30^th in the Han River in Da Nang.

Here is the schedule of firework performances:

Opening - April 30^th (Monday): Vietnam - Poland

Qualifying - May 26^th (Saturday): France - USA

Qualifying - June 2^nd (Saturday): Italy - Hong Kong

Qualifying - June 9^th (Saturday): Sweden - Portugal

Finals - June 30^th (Saturday): Finals and Awards

They will begin at 8 PM on the aforementioned nights./.
