Recently, at the 16th annual conference held in Atlanta, USA, Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was honored with the 2025 Global Healthcare Innovation Leadership Award. This prestigious recognition from the Association of Global Health Universities celebrates scientists who have made significant contributions to public health through innovative initiatives, particularly in low-income countries.

Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach received this award for his notable work in healthcare innovation, including research on health economics, health systems, and digital health technologies that enhance access to healthcare services for vulnerable populations. A trailblazer in integrating cost-effective healthcare models, he has optimized healthcare systems, improved global health response capacities, and played a crucial role in pandemic prevention and control in developing countries.

This award marks a significant milestone in Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach's scientific career and underscores the prominence of Vietnamese scientists on the international stage. Earlier, he was also recognized with the 2023 Outstanding Research Award by ISPOR, the world's largest association for health economic evaluation.

The Association of Global Health Universities, based in Washington, DC, unites nearly 200 universities and educational institutions worldwide to collaboratively address global health challenges.
