Vietnam Red Cross Society supports victims in Hoa Binh’s medical incident

(VNF) - Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC) provided an emergency aid of VND 86.5 million (USD 3,806) to families of the dead and patients undergoing treatment in Hoa Binh’s medical incident.

Earlier, 18 patients undergoing renal dialysis at the General Hospital of Hoa Binh province suffered a mass anaphylactic shock on Monday (May 29th), resulting in the death of seven of them.

Ten of the 11 surviving patients have been transferred to Bach Mai Hospital’s renal replacement therapy unit in Hanoi for further treatment.

On May 31stafternoon, a delegation of the VRC Central Committee, Hanoi and Hoa Binh province branches, visited the patients undergoing treatment at Bach Mai Hospital and handed over aid money for the patients. Previously, the Red Cross level Hoa Binh Province also has visited and extent his sympathy to families in the province.

Of which, VND 32 million (USD 1,408) from the Central Association, VND 43.5 million (USD 1,914) from the provincial branch of the Red Cross Society in Hoa Binh Province and VND 11 million (USD 484) from Hanoi Red Cross Society./.
