The volunteer group held an improved lunch; health examination and consultation; gifts giving to people raised at Social Protection Center 3 Hanoi. On behalf of the Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association, Ambassador Nguyen Duc Hung presented VND 15 million to the Center. Ambassador Jaya Ratnam presented gifts from the Singapore Embassy to Vietnam to the elderly and children at the Center.

Social Protection Center 3 Hanoi specializes in receiving, caring for, and nurturing lonely elderly people, orphans, and children in extremely difficult circumstances in Hanoi. The Center is currently caring for and nurturing 136 elderly people and children.

The "Sunday of Love" program has been implemented since August 2017 by a group of volunteers, "Connecting Love", which consists of officers of the National Assembly's Social Affairs Committee, Hanoi Heart Hospital, and philanthropists. The program has been held at dozens of social protection centers in many provinces and cities nationwide with activities such as improved lunch; cardiovascular examination and mobilization of equipment support, and gifts in cash and kind.

From the "Ươm mầm tương lai" (Nurturing the Future) scholarship fund, the group has provided scholarships for many students. The group commits that if scholarship recipients continue to overcome difficulties in their studies and meet the requirements, they will receive further support at higher levels of education. The group's activities have achieved good results, creating a positive impact in the community, and helping the group gain experience in organizing volunteer activities.
