Vietnam – South Korea Cultural and Culinary Festival to be held in Hanoi

A paradise for foodies with thousands of special Korean dishes.
The Culture and Food Festival, organized by the South Korean Embassy in Vietnam in coordination with Hanoi People’s Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will take place in Hanoi from November 30 to December 2 at Near Lake Park, Daewoo Starlake (Vo Chi Cong Street, west of West Lake, Hanoi).
This annual event, the tenth edition in a row, features a Vietnam – South Korea talent contest, a food-court of 100 stalls and musical performances of famous K-pop singer, including Haha, Skull, Byul, Jeebanoff, Zizo, M. Tyson, Maasung.
The first festival of this kind was held in 2008 and ten years later, the turnout has reached about 100,000 people.
Last year’s event was among the activities in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and South Korea. The festival welcomed over 150,000 visitors.
All proceeds from the event were donated to the underprivileged people in Vietnam. The event featured various traditional Korean foods, performances, games and a prize lottery. Nearly 100 food courts from restaurants in Hanoi and shops from entrepreneurs introduced their specialties./.
