Conference "Independence - Freedom - Happiness: Research and sharing between Vietnam and African-Middle Eastern countries." |
The conference "Independence-Freedom-Happiness: Research and sharing between Vietnam and African-Middle Eastern countries" was organized by the Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies (IAMES) (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) on November 10 in Hanoi.
Developing internal resources
At the conference, delegates and guests discussed and shared the role and meaning of independence for the country's development, our Party's views on independence in the current period, and independence-autonomy in international relations.
They mentioned the independence and autonomy that Vietnam proposed in international relations, on the path that President Ho Chi Minh and our Party pursued independence-freedom-happiness for the Vietnamese people.
According to Le Phuoc Minh, director general of the Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies, the transformation of Africa and the Middle East is increasingly attracting the world's attention.
They are important partners in the strategies of countries around the world and are areas of influence for major countries. However, many countries in the region have not yet achieved true independence-freedom-happiness.
Recent geopolitical realities around the world, especially in the Africa-Middle East region, demonstrate that building peace, independence, self-reliance on the path of development, towards integration, and becoming part of the common world is the desire of all countries in the region.
This is a journey with many difficulties and challenges for Africa and Middle East to achieve that goal. Africa and the Middle East have been promoting their internal strength and gradually spreading their attraction.
Therefore, the voices of small countries and big countries will be heard equally, to have a peaceful, autonomous and prosperous Africa-Middle East.
