Vietnam Times asks for Lao Embassy’s support in developing its Lao online site

On behalf of Vietnam Times, Thien wished Minister-Counsellor Viengxay Darasene and the embassy’s staff as well as the Laotian people a new year of health, happiness, and success.
He also hoped the great friendship of two countries and the relationships between Vietnam Times and Lao Embassy will be unshakable.
The Editor-in-chief said that the Laotian language site of the Vietnam Times has a task of tightly connecting the two countries’ people, and concurrently, providing information about Vietnam and its people as well as external and friendship activities of officials, localities, agencies and socio-political organisations of Vietnam and Laos.
The newspaper also reports on the situation across the fields in the countries, while serving as a forum to promote people’s diplomacy, thus contributing to the friendship among the countries and peace and friendship in the region.
As the bridge between Lao people and Vietnam Times, Thien hoped that Embassy of Laos in Vietnam will more concern and give opinions to help the news agency deliver the true and quality information to two countries’ readers.

For his part, Minister-Counsellor Viengxay Darasene expressed his appreciation for Editor-in-chief Thien and the newspaper’s delegates, hailing the role and contribution of Vietnam Times in the Vietnam – Laos’ relations.
He also affirmed that Lao Embassy will always pay attention and support Vietnam Times in particular and Vietnam’s news agency in general, to increase the quality and efficiency of propaganda to help preserve and develop the close bonds between two nations.
Minister-Counsellor also voices his belief that Vietnam Times will successfully complete its mission and achieve more achievements./.
