Vietnam World Vision gave 30 cows to the people of Dien Bien

Recently, in Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province, World Vision Organization (WVV) has conducted a ceremony to hand over cows to disadvantaged households. In addition to handing over cows, WVV also has equiped people with the necessary knowledge and skills to improve their livelihoods such as barn-making techniques, breeding options, caring skills and disease prevention.
This is an annual activity, implemented under the Livelihood Poverty Escape Model (also called the UPG model), aiming to improve livelihoods for disadvantaged households. This is especially for households with the most vulnerable and/or sponsored children of World Vision.
World Vision Vietnam is an international Christian humanitarian organization, through programs of development and emergency relief, improving the life - quality of the poor, the disadvantaged, and especially the young Vietnamese. Every year, about 3 million Vietnamese children benefit from health, education, protection and participation programs by World Vision. |
