Vietnamese, Belgian artists to gather in Hanoi
Five Vietnamese print artists will combine with their seven Belgian at an art exhibition titled “Vietnam-Belgium printed paintings in dialogue,” to take place at Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts from April 10th - 20th.
Under the sponsorship of Wallonie-Bruxelles in Vietnam, the exhibition aims to enrich artistic exchanges between Vietnam and Belgium, while providing a chance for viewers to contemplate the beauty of Western and Eastern artistic culture.
The exhibition features many well-known artists from Vietnam and Belgium, including, Pol Authom, Michel Barzin, Marie-France Bonmariage, Virginie Faivred’ Arcier, Chantal Hardy, Habib Harem, Martine Monfort, Pham Khac Quang, Le Huy Tiep, Nguyen Nghia Phuong, Ngo Anh Co, and Phan Hai Bang.
At the exhibition, artists will help visitors to discover special cultural characteristics of each country. The exhibition will be also an opportunity for the public to understand the persification in form and production techniques of printed paintings.
On this occasion, working sessions between Belgian artists and Vietnamese artists and students will be held.
In 2014, the Vietnam-Wallonie-Bruxelles printed painting exhibition took place in Belgium./
