Vietnamese circus artists win silver prize at Int’l fest

(VNF) - An acrobatic circus performance involving leather straps by artists Van Thai and Thu Huong from Vietnam Circus Federation has just won the Silver Medal at the 33rd Golden Circus Festival held in Rome between December 25th and January 8th.

Two other artists from the federation also performed with ceramic jars and won the hearts of audiences at the event. They even were chose to perform at the Paul VI Hall on December 28th for Pope Francis’ weekly General Audience.

The event gathered 50 local circus artists and ones from Germany, Ukraine, Hungary, Russia, Finland, Ghana, China and Vietnam.

Two bronze medals were given to circus performances with horses by Italian artists and another performance by Ukrainian artists.

Vietnamese artists joined the event for the first time in 2013 and won the gold medal. Ever since, Vietnamese delegations have impressed audiences with their high quality performances./.
