Vietnamese citizens warned not to travel to Maldives
The Consular Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned Vietnamese citizens not to travel to the Malpes these days as the country declared a 15-day state of emergency starting from February 5 due to a political crisis.

Vietnamese citizens are advised not to visit the Malpes until its government announces an end to the state of emergency.
Those, who are learning, working or visiting the island country, are recommended to avoid crowded and sensitive places and keep a close watch on warnings of local authorized offices to ensure safety.
