Vietnamese doctors do volunteer work in Laos
In late 2015, a delegation from the Vietnamese Military Hospital 175 travelled over 1,000 kilometres to reach Laos, carrying out a program providing free medical check-ups and medicine to Lao cadres, soldiers and people.
The program was conducted under the framework of the Vietnam – Laos trade fair held by the Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defence, and Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Laos’ Ministry of Industry and Trade and authorities of Laos’ Champasak province.
