Vietnamese food impress at cuisine festival in Bangladesh
(VNF) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Bangladesh held a three-day-long traditional cuisine festival in the capital city of Dhaka on May 5th-7th.

Under the skillful hands of Vietnamese culinary team, the cuisine festival brought to guests perse Vietnamese dishes, including pho, spring rolls, fish balls and mung bean cakes.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Bangladesh Tran Van Khoa said the festival aims to promote Vietnamese cuisine and ties between Vietnam and international friends.

Bangladeshi Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Khan Menon praised the food and urged both countries to organise more cultural exchanges to boost mutual understanding.
Vietnam Food Day in Dhaka has promoted and introduced to Bangladesh’s people and international friends the finest taste of Vietnamese cuisine while strengthening the friendship ties between Vietnam and Bangladesh as well as with other countries.

Vietnam and Bangladesh officially established their diplomatic ties on February 17th, 1973. Since then, they have remained the traditional friendship and fine co-operation; facilitated visits at all levels; signed a number of agreements on economics, trade, investment, culture, information, agriculture, science-technology, and aviation. The two sides have facilitated visits by delegations from national defence, culture-sports-tourism, and labour and social affairs sectors to learn experience from each other.
Vietnam and Bangladesh will celebrate 45 years of diplomatic ties in 2018./.
