(VNF) - 76 nurses who meet the required German language standards are expected to participate into the learning and working as nursing staff at Federal Republic of Germany in October, according to Ha Xuan Tung, Director of the Overseas Laborer Centre under the Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA).

The candidate must attend the preparatory courses in Vietnam, to achieve B2 level of German, which makes the premise for the nursing care for the elderly in Germany. They are given to study and work in Germany and do not have to pay the brokerage fees or broker training and employment.

In Germany, the candidate will be trained for a maximum of 36 months and enjoy a minimum scholarship of EUR 850 (USD 955) per month for the first year, of EUR 950 (USD 1,067) per month for the second year and from EUR 1,050 (USD 1,179) per month for the third year.

After the training, with the efforts of the candidates, they will achieve B2 German certificate, apprentices are arranged, with certificates and the opportunity of working in Germany. They will then enjoy a salary like other Germans at some EUR 2,400-2,500 (USD 2,696- 2,809) per month, as well as other social welfare policies in accordance with German laws, while having to pay taxes and social insurance.

The pilot implementation of the cooperation program to bring Vietnamese nurses to study and work in the nursing sector in Germany between Vietnam’s MOLISA and Germany’s Ministry of Economics and Energy in 2013 and 2014 brought 225 initial Vietnamese labourers to study and work in Germany./.
