The Lao official is on a working visit to Vietnam from December 11-14, at Nghia’s invitation, according to VNA.

Speaking at the event, Nghia stressed that in the context of complicated and unpredictable developments of the regional and international situations, the two Parties and states should cooperate more closely, take advantage of opportunities and address challenges to help the two countries grow sustainably, for the interests of their peoples, and for peace, stability and development of the region.

Both officials agreed that more attention should be paid to Party building and personnel works, and to political and ideological education to prevent the degradation of ideology, morality, lifestyle, as well as corruption and negative phenomenon.

The two commissions need to step up the exchange and sharing of experience, and share information and communications materials on the relations between the two countries in various forms; and strengthen cooperation in organising training courses for the Lao staff.
