CNN Travel’s voters has voted Vietnamese fried spring roll (Nem Ran) among Top 10 culinary dishes.

The website described “the spectrum of Vietnamese dishes is surprisingly refined and perse for such a small country.”

It also said each city, even each village, may have its own list of unique local specialty cuisine.

“The cheapest and one of the most delicious places to encounter authentic Vietnamese cuisine is in a traditional open-air market,” CNN noted.

In order to highlight the most popular cuisines on the planet, CNN asked its readers to vote for their favourite culinary destination in an open poll on Facebook.

The other dishes in the top 10 are beef noodles of Taiwan, adobo of the Philippines, Parmigiano-reggiano of Italy, fried chicken of Thailand, Kobe beef kaiseki of Japan, laksa of Malaysia, Gun Tong Gau of Hong Kong, Bengali thala of India, and grilled kebab of Greece./.
