Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in Hai Phong city Le Quoc Tien said that Japan is a country with strengths in technology, digital infrastructure, and the new generation of 5G mobile networks. Japanese businesses are big investors and are looking for investment opportunities in digital technology in Vietnam.
Catching up with this trend, one of the main tasks of the Association is to promote connections between Japanese businesses and organizations that support commercial investment, and participate in cooperation projects to strongly promote the digital transformation process in Hai Phong.
The Association also continues to support and help Japanese businesses to explore the market, promote investment, grasp the problems of Japanese enterprises operating in the city, to advise the authorities to solve the difficulties.

The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in Da Nang city was re-established on the basis of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in Quang Nam-Da Nang province (founded on July 19, 1993).
The Association coordinated with agencies and units to organize many diverse, rich and effective activities such as exchanges between businessmen, and businesses from Japan and other countries, Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Festival, Japan Job Fair, Japanese Speech Contest, and Drawing Contest about Japan and its people.
It also brought many students from Da Nang city to Japan to study, research, and act as a bridge between the education of Japan and Da Nang.
The Association promoted the image of the city, people and culture of Da Nang to Japanese friends, thereby contributing to creating a beautiful image of a friendly and hospitable Da Nang in the hearts of Japanese friends.
In 2023, besides annual activities such as painting and eloquence, the Association planned to implement other activities such as planting commemorative trees, supporting disadvantaged students in Hoa Vang district, and holding an exhibition of handmade toys for young people in Da Nang.

The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in Hanoi was established in 1998. The Association currently has 15 branches and member clubs with 328 members.
With the motto of taking the branches as the core, the Association's peaceful, friendly, and cooperative activities over the past 5 years have been maintained regularly with rich and practical contents.
Its branch - Hanoi Aikido Club regularly cooperated with Japan Aikido Federation to successfully organize training programs and performances.
In September 2018, the branch organized the 6th Asia Aikido Program in Hanoi, which gathered more than 200 Aikido masters and students from 11 countries and territories.
Another branch - Hanoi Children's Palace successfully organized the Vietnam-Japan Children's Photo Exhibition with the theme "We are friends - Your paintings, my paintings".

The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in Nghe An province enlisted aid from Japanese organizations.
Through the Association, the Japanese Embassy sponsored 4 projects.
Each project included building four solid classrooms, fully equipped with tables and chairs for students, teachers, and blackboards according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training at Dai Son 2 Primary School, Tieu Tru Son School in Do Luong district, Nghi My Primary School and Nghi Lam Primary School in Nghi Loc district with a total budget of nearly VND8 billion (US$338,266).
The International Small Organization provided the Association with a small rescue boat worth nearly VND2 billion (US$84,566). Nezu Moritaka and Nezu Tenryo (Japan) donated JYP60,000 (US$422) to Phan Boi Chau Memorial Site, and books and teaching materials for students of Nghi Truong Primary School, in Nghi Loc district, and Hung Hoa Primary School, in Vinh city.
