Describing the Vietnamese player, the website wrote: “The 32-year-old was a bright spot for a Bình Dương side that had little to cheer about this season. With his brilliant positioning and clever finishing, Nguyễn scored five goals in three November matches, including a hat trick on the final day, to finish as the V-League’s top scorer.
Đức scored 17 goals in total in this year’s season. The captain of Becamex Bình Dương secured a berth in the national team despite his age and after nearly three years’ absence.
Standing together with him in the front line is Jay Bothroyd of Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and Obafemi Martins of Shanghai Shenhua.
Football Tribe also selected Vander Luiz of Chiangrai United and Kengo Nakamura from Kawasaki Frontale as attacking midfielders.
Son Jun-ho of Pohang Steelers and Server Djeparov of Esteghlal took the role of central midfielders.
The defenders were Kim Jin-su and Choi Chul-soon of Jeonbuk Motors and Jalal Hosseini from Persepolis.
Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo’s Gu Sung-yun was selected goalkeeper./.
