Rube Goldberg machines contest, one of the activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, invited teams of high school students from around the world.
The challenge encouraged students to use out-of-the-box problem solving and teamwork to build a multi-step, chain reaction machine, and creatively incorporate Israel themed elements and texts into their entry.
Especially, the machine was composed of every-day, recyclable materials.
As the first-place winner, the students from Le Hong Phong Highschool for the Gifted receive one-year full scholarship to study at Technion.
One year ago, the school's team was the first runner-up of the Rube Goldberg machines contest 2017, themed "Earth Day"./.
