The Vietnamese Embassy in Norway actively participated in and left a special impression on international guests at the International Childrens Festival 2015 in the city of Hamar, Norway in early June.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Norway actively participated in and left a special impression on international guests at the International Childrens Festival 2015 in the city of Hamar, Norway in early June.

With a space imbued with national identity, the booth of the Vietnamese Embassy attracted attention of a large number of visitors, importantly contributing to introducing and promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam to Norwegian and international friends.

The Vietnamese booth welcomed visitors through traditional gates with conical hats, five-star lanterns, masks and small lanterns.

These traditional toys of Vietnamese children on mid-Autumn festival and traditional instruments including the monochord, flute, K'long Put were also exhibited and introduced to visitors.

At the festival, foreign children were guided how to play Vietnamese folk games and enjoyed the lion dance, drum-beating, making sand-painting and colouring.

In addition, visitors also enjoyed performances of artists from Norway, Brazil, Indonesia, Georgia and Thailand./.
