Vietnam’s Weather Forecast (February 9): The Temperature Continues To Be Low In Hanoi

On February 9, Vietnam’s weather forecast is predicted to be cold with low temperatures in Hanoi and the Northern region in the first days of the Lunar New Year holiday.

According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, strong cold air has spread throughout the Northern and North Central regions and is going to affect the rest of Vietnam. In the mainland, the Northeast wind is strong at level 3, and in coastal areas at level 3-4.

Due to the influence of cold air, the weather in the Northeast becomes colder than the previous days, and the temperature drops again. In the Northwest and North Central regions, it can be freezing and harmful.

From February 10-12, there will be no rain and the afternoon will be sunny. The highest temperature increases to 21-24 degrees, the lowest is about 12-16 degrees.

Other areas have no rain at night and sunny during the day. Particularly, the area from Da Nang to Binh Dinh on February 9 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.

The weather at sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin and the North East Sea region, the Northeast wind is gradually strengthening to level 6, gusting to level 7-8.

Northwest region: The weather forecast is predicted to be cloudy and cold, with scattered thunderstorms in some places in the afternoon and evening. Lai Chau-Dien Bien alone has light rain, with fewer clouds in the afternoon and sunny weather. Lowest temperature: 13-15 degrees, some places below 13 degrees. The highest temperature is 18-21 degrees, with some places above 26 degrees.

Northeast region: The weather will be cloudy with light rain in some places. The temperature is low, especially in the mountainous areas. Lowest temperature: 11-14 degrees, some places below 5 degrees. Highest temperature: 13-16 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather is predicted to be cloudy, with scattered showers in some places in the evening and at night. Lowest temperature: North 15-18 degrees; South 19-22 degrees. Highest temperature: North 18-21 degrees, South 23-26 degrees.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: The weather will be cloudy and sunny during the day, with no rain at night. Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.

The Central Highlands: The weather is forecasted to be cloudy and sunny during the day, with no rain at night. Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees, some places above 33 degrees.

The Southern region: The weather forecast is predicted to be cloudy and sunny during the day, with no rain at night. East to southeast wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places above 34 degrees.

Hanoi: The weather will be cloudy and cold, with light rain in some places in the early morning and afternoon. It is cold at night. Lowest temperature: 12-14 degrees. Highest temperature: 14-16 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City: The weather is forecasted to be sunny with high temperatures during the day, and no rain at night. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places above 34 degrees.
