From the evening of July 16 to the morning of July 17, the Northern Delta, Hoa Binh, and North Central region had moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms in some places, with common rainfall from 20 to 50 mm. From the afternoon of July 17, heavy rain gradually decreased in these areas.

On the evening and night of July 16, the Central Highlands and the South had moderate rain and thunderstorms, local heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, concentrating in the afternoon and evening. From July 17-18, the Central Highlands and the South have moderate rain with thunderstorms, with a common rainfall of 30-70mm in the afternoon and evening.

The mountainous and midland regions of the North and Central Central region have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall of 15-30mm, in some places over 80 mm.

The meteorological agency warns that in the coming hours, there is a high risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams and landslides on slopes in many districts.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather is forecasted to have moderate to heavy rain, with thunderstorms at night in the North. East-southeast wind level 2-3.
