Vinh-Singapore air route to be launched next year
The information was given by Huynh Thanh Dien, vice chairman of Nghe An Province People’s Committee following a recent meeting with Vietjet Air on resuming some domestic and international air routes, including Vinh-Bangkok, Vinh - Cam Ranh and Vinh-Danang.

According to the airline, they will resume Vinh-Bangkok air route suspended after being launched in 2016 from January next year. Vietjet Air also added that they will conduct Vinh-Singapore air route from mid-2019.
The flights are expected to boost investment from Thailand and Singapore into Nghe An Province as well as spur the province’s tourism development.
Currently, Vinh International Airport is operating five domestic air routes to HCM City, Hanoi, Buon Me Thuot, Lien Khuong and Pleiku with a total 16 flights per day.
The airport sees an annual passenger rise of 15%./.
