VND32 billion donated to fund for sea and islands
The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) on October 4th will work together to organise an art performance encouraging agencies, collectives and inpiduals to donate to the fund “For the homeland’s sea and islands”.

The performance aims to give material assistance to the navy, coast guard and fisheries surveillance forces who are on duty protecting the sovereignty of the nation’s sea and islands.
According to Trieu Le Khanh, Vice Chairperson of the VFF in Ho Chi Minh City, through the program, the organizers target a collection of VND30 billion for the fund. However, so far, agencies and inpiduals have committed nearly VND32 billion which is expected to be granted on October 4th.
During the art performance, the audiences will have a chance to meet and talk with border guards and navy soldiers and cadres while enjoying songs highlighting the nation’s holy sea and islands.
The art performance will be broadcast live on HTV9 at 8:30 p.m on October 4th. All the donations can be transferred to the account 102010000851910 at the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank), Ho Chi Minh city branch./.
