VUFO, Authentic Asia to boost cooperation
(VNF) - On December 1st, in Hanoi, Bui Van Nghi, Deputy Head of Department of American Affair under the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) had a meetting with Tina Patterson, Founder of Authentic Asia and her husband.

Informing his guest about VUFO, Nghi emphasised that VUFO attaches great importance to develop friendly relations between the Vietnamese people and the people of the world, enhancing mutual understanding and promoting good friendship and cooperation. In addition, VUFO has established associations and chapters in many provinces and cities across the country. This will be a favorable condition to assist Authentic Asia carry out its activities in Vietnam.
Tina Patterson expressed thanks to VUFO for welcoming her and her husband; adding that purpose of this visit was to learn about the situation in Vietnam and to work with VUFO in order to contribute to the enhancement of understanding, thus forming the basis of cooperation between VUFO and Authentic Asia. In addition, she appreciated the active cooperation as well as the VUFO’s contributions to the friendship and cooperation between the people of Vietnam and other countries.
She also talked about her first visit to Vietnam in 1991, about her Boulder-based travel company, Authentic Asia and international delegations she brought to Vietnam, including many professors as well as students have a desire to learn about the country and people of Vietnam, and hoping that in the near future Authentic Asia will receive the support and assistance of VUFO.

Nghi voiced his hope that Authentic Asia will bring more and more international delegations to Vietnam, further contributing to the enhancement of mutual understanding and friendly relations among Vietnamese and international people.
At the meeting, the two sides also discussed preparation for international professors delegation will visit Vietnam on March./.
