VUFO, the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association pay tribute to V.I. Lenin
(VNF) – On occasion of the 100th anniversary of Russian October Revolution (November 7), leaders of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association on November 7 laid wreath in tribute to V.I.Lenin.

Vice President of VUFO Bui Khac Son; General Director of the Vietnam National Television, President of the Vietnam – Russia Friendship Association Tran Binh Minh attended the ceremony.
In front of the statue of Lenin, the delegates respectfully expressed their gratitude to the great leader, the outstanding politician, the teacher of the working class, whose contribution to the October Revolution was tremendous.
The victory of the Russian October Revolution and the birth of the Soviet Union established by Lenin not only fundamentally transformed the fate of the Russian people, but also inspired oppressed people to unite to break the chains of slavery, evoking a robust national liberation movement across the world.

100 years has passed since the day the October Revolution happened in Russia. Nonetheless, it remains one of the most historic events in the 20th century, which not only brought about radical change to people of working class and peace to the world, but also paved way for national liberation movement.
It was the guiding star for oppressed countries to develop into socialist republics.
October Revolution has a significant and sacred meaning to every Vietnamese people. After a century, its spirit keeps living on, fueling the in-depth comprehensive bilateral ties between the people of Vietnam and Russia./.
