At the farewell for the workers, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong and the union leaders warmly visited, encouraged, and wished the workers a happy new year.

According to Vice President Thai Thu Xuong, the Vietnam Trade Union wishes workers a safe, joyful, warm and reunited Tet. "After Tet, everyone returned to work on schedule, made efforts to overcome difficulties, actively competed in production labor, and contributed to the development of businesses, localities, and the country", Deputy Chairman Thai Thu Xuong said.

During 202 Tet, the Vietnam Trade Union will organize three free flights to bring more than 670 union members and workers in southern provinces and cities to their hometowns in the North to celebrate Tet.

Among the 50 workers participating in the mentioned flight of the Binh Duong Confederation of Labor, 20 are outstanding workers with difficult circumstances whose tickets were sponsored. In addition to the gift from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 50 workers attending this morning's program, the Confederation of Labor of Binh Duong province gave 20 workers from Binh Duong, who were given the chance to go home on the flight, additional gifts and lucky money.

“Trade Union Flight - Spring 2024” takes place from February 6 to 8, 2024 (December 27 - 29 of the Lunar Year of the Cat, 2023). The flights depart from Tan Son Nhat airport (HCMC) and arrive at Vinh (Nghe An), Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa), Noi Bai (Hanoi), Cat Bi (Hai Phong) airports.

Previously, many local labor confederations simultaneously organized trains and buses to take workers back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.
