“Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass” screened in Qatar
(VNF) – The Vietnamese award-winning movie “Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass” (Tôi thấy hoa vàng trên cỏ xanh) yesterday was screened in the Cultural Village of Katara (Doha), on occasion of the 25th anniversary of Vietnam – Qatar diplomatic relations establishment (1993-2018, Feb 8).

Head of the Department of Asia affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar; General Director of the Cultural Village Katara; representative of Ministry of Culture and Sport of Qatar, diplomatic officers, and representatives of the Vietnamese community, attended the movie screening.
"Yellow flowers on green grass" is an adaptation from the same title book, written by best seller author Nguyen Nhat Anh. The movie tells a breathtakingly beautiful tale of childhood, innocence, and brotherhood.
At the sideline of the movie screening, the Ambassador of Vietnam to Qatar, Nguyen Thao, also responded to an interview by the QatarTV regarding Vietnam-Qatar diplomatic ties.
The movie screening is the first among a series of events marking the 25th anniversary of two countries’ bilateral ties. According to the Vietnamese Embassy to Qatar, in 2018, many celebration activities will be held, such as the Vietnamese Food festival, the photos and painting exhibition on the land and people of Vietnam and various arts performance in the year 2018./.
