Yen Bai Creates Forum for Students to Raise Voice on Children Issues
Mock session of the Children's People's Council in Yen Bai.

During the hypothetical session, the children's delegates, acting as People's Council delegates, focused on reviewing and discussing significant reports and proposals, with particular emphasis on two prominent topics: "Promoting Children's Right to Participate in Children's Issues" and "Preventing the Harmful Effects of Tobacco in the School Environment in Yen Bai Province." These pressing issues not only attract public attention but also reflect the children's desire for a safe and healthy learning environment.

Guided by the leaders of the Yen Bai People's Committee and various departments (in an assumed capacity), the children posed questions, shared their opinions, and received explanations and feedback from the leaders. The session concluded with the adoption of two important resolutions: the Resolution on Promoting Children's Participation in Children's Issues in the Province for the Period 2024-2030 and the Resolution on Preventing the Harmful Effects of Tobacco in the School Environment in Yen Bai Province for the same period.

This activity aims to provide Yen Bai's children with opportunities to engage with and learn about the political system and state apparatus, particularly important provincial agencies such as the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee. By doing so, it encourages their civic awareness and active participation in social issues from an early age.

On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the Yen Bai People's Council, Hoang Thi Thanh Binh, along with representatives from the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and the Yen Bai Youth Union, presented flowers and souvenirs to 30 members of the Children's Council, acknowledging their efforts and proactive spirit during this special meeting.
