Zhishan Foundation offers health check-up to children with disabilities in Quang Binh

The tests gave needy children an opportunity to receive an accurate diagnosis without the added expense of going to central-level hospitals.
Those diagnosed to have serious symptoms are going to be offered free operations.
1 – 18 years old children with disabilities took part in the health check – up days. 20 children was suggested having surgery by the doctor after the checking process and Zhishan Foundation sponsors the surgeries which was operated in Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Moreover, Zhishan Foundation will also assistance the patient transportation fees and donate supporting utensils during their stay at the hospital.
This event was co-hosted annually by Zhishan Foundation and Quang Binh Children Protection Fund to support disabled children by the free medical examination, treatments and surgeries for their wellbeing and their social inclusion.
Zhishan Foundation is the NGO of Taiwan (China) with the purposes of offering scholarship, free surgeries to disabled children and supporting the preschool education. The Foundation has been carrying out many projects to support education, health care and long-term assistant Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An provinces./.
