14th Vietnamese student’s festival held in RoK
The 14th Vietnamese Students’ Festival was recently held at Soongsil University, Seoul, drawing the participation of over 1,000 students from across Korea.

As one of the biggest annual events for Vietnamese students in Korea, the festival was also one of a series of activities to celebrating the 26th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea.
At the event, certificates of merit were awarded to inpiduals and groups with excellent achievements in academic works and social activities.
The 14th festival was highlighted with folk games and cooking competitions, which introduced to Korean and international friends the quintessence of Vietnamese traditional culture.
Currently, there are about 2500 Vietnamese students living in Korea and this number is still rising.
In 2017, Vietnam sent nearly 15,000 students to the RoK, three times higher than the number in 2015, making it the fastest-growing market for international education in the Northeast Asian country./.
