As many as 400 paintings selected from 34,250 entries submitted for a contest launched for children in 574 schools nationwide will be displayed at an exhibition in Hanoi on May 27th to celebrate the International Children’s Day (June 1st).

The paintings will show children’s love for their families and teachers as well as scenes of student life.

The exhibition will draw the participation of pupils from boarding schools in mountainous provinces and from SOS Hai Phong Children's Village.

It is part of a biennial program of children’s paintings co-organised by the Ministries of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Education and Training; and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with the aim of promoting arts activities for children and nurture talents at schools./.
